Alexandria in Bloom – National Cherry Blossom Festival
A tribute to the 1912 gift of 3,000 cherry trees from Mayor Yukio Ozaki of Tokyo to the city of Washington D.C., the National Cherry Blossom Festival is one of the world’s greatest celebrations of spring. Across the Potomac River from the nation’s capital, The Alexandrian in Old Town Alexandria is commemorating this month-long festival with a special Cherry Blossom Festival package, including Water Taxi tickets to the D.C. Wharf, a gourmet picnic basket, and signature cherry blossom-themed cocktails from our Southern-inspired restaurant Jackson 20.
