What do I need in order to check in to The Alexandrian?

In order to check in, the guest need to verify the ID and CC and necessary documents for any qualifying discounts.

Cancellation Policy

24 hours for non-prepaid rates.

I need to make a change to my reservation. Who should I contact?

You may contact the hotel directly @703.549.6080 or Marriott reservations 1.888.236.2427.

Guest will need to contact 3rd party booking if reservation has been made through another booking channel.

Do you provide ADA-compliant accommodations?

We have wheel chair accessible rooms and Hearing accessible rooms

Does the hotel allow smoking?

No, it is a non-smoking hotel.

Are pets allowed at the hotel?

Yes, the hotel allows pets on site except for the 3rd floor which is pet-free floor. The charge for the pets per stay is $25

Do you have a fitness center?

Yes, the fitness center is located on the 3rd floor and is operating 24/7

Do you provide Dry Cleaning / Laundry?

No, at the moment we do not provide laundry services at the hotel

Do you provide concierge services?

Front Office team will assist you with any concierge needs.

What other services do you provide?

The hotel provides following services: free bike rental, fitness center (24/7), King & Rye restaurant (dine in / take out) and luggage assistance.

How do I get to the hotel?

From I-95 you can turn right on S Patrick Street and then turn right to King st

Is parking available at the hotel?

Yes, there are parking on site. Daily charge is $16 and Nightly charge is $33

Are you close to public transportation?

Alexandria Union Station (ALX) which is less than 2 miles from the hotel. There are Dash Bus station on the right-hand side of the hotel and King Street Trolley station next to CVS

What is Old Town?

Old Town is Alexandria’s beloved downtown and nationally designated historic district on the Potomac River waterfront. The King Street Mile and surrounding brick-lined sidewalks are studded with centuries-old architecture, historic attractions and independent businesses.

Is there a great shopping near The Alexandrian?

If you’re looking for a shopping district in the DC area with panache and authentic charm, Old Town Alexandria’s historic King Street can’t be beat.

Our onsite restaurant, King & Rye, a Southern-American restaurant focused on high-quality regional ingredients, whiskeys and bourbons, will open blocks from the waterfront. Executive Chef Tomas Chavarria has crafted a menu of fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients to showcase the bounty of the Mid-Atlantic and Shenandoah Valley regions in addition to his travels abroad.

We have an indoor gym at the Alexandrian that Alexandrian guests may use

Are there any wedding planners on property?

We do not have wedding planners on property and they are not required, however, they are recommended. We have venue coordinators that assist with detailing your event for the hotel specifically.

Do you offer on property catering services?

We do! Outside catering is not allowed and all catering must be provided by the hotel.
