Held each Saturday morning year-round, the farmers' market is an event that has been held at the Market Square plaza for over 260 years. In fact, Old Town Farmers' Market is the oldest farmers' market in the country which has been held continuously at the same site. George Washington sent his produce from Mount Vernon to be sold at the Farmer's Market. Today, the market offers residents of and visitors to Alexandria a way to reconnect to the past, while participating in an ongoing local and national tradition. During the peak season, there are more than 70 vendors offering fruits and vegetables, meat, poultry, cheeses, breads, pastries, fresh pasta, pickled vegetables, cut flowers, potted plants, soaps, fabric art, and paintings.

Our Cherry Blossom Chef's Supper Club is back! Executive Chef Tomas Chavarria is collaborating with The House of Suntory to create a Japanese and Southern fusion menu for this 5-course dinner experience. Each course will be accompanied by custom cocktails created with The House of Suntory spirits. An evening of mouthwatering food and heavenly spirits awaits...
The first half hour of our Chef's Supper Club is a reception style to give our attendees time to arrive and mingle before sitting for dinner. Upon arrival, guests will be able to enjoy a welcome bite and cocktail from our House of Suntory Highball Cart. For the remainder of the event, be guided through a fusion of Japanese & Southern cuisine with cocktail pairings from The House of Suntory, with shared insight on ingredients, methods and the inspiration behind each menu item.
